VinGroup has invested in a public amusement park and resort in the My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area with a modern design and large scale. The project is expected to be completed in 2021 with high-class product chains under the Vinpearl brand.

In addition, the province has promptly accomplished the procedures for the construction of the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho highway that will connect with the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway as well as a double road from the city to My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area in order to shorten travel time for visitors.

My Lam Ward currently has 11 residential groups and its streets have maintained their old names, including Cay Tram (Canarium Tree), Nuoc Nong (Hot Mineral Water), Lam Nghiep (Forestry), and Kim Phu, which indicate the economic advantages of each locality.

To date, the ward has planned to develop the service areas in the residential goups of Cay Tram, Nuoc Nong and Lam Nghiep. The local authorities have also implemented a project of cultivating 30 hectares of clean vegetables in Hang Huou and Phu Lam and 50 hectares of VietGAP tea in Kim Phu.  

With the rapid development, My Lam is expected to be one of the areas with strong development in tourism and services, attracting large numbers of domestic and foreign tourists.
